Front Office Administrators
Carrie
Carrie is an awesome member of our front office administrative team. She can be found making patient appointments,, verifying patient insurance benefits, coordinating our IV sedation schedule, and answering any questions or concerns our patients may have. What you may not know is that Carrie comes from a large family with six siblings – including lots of nieces and nephews. She has one daughter, Audrey, who is an honorary member of the Pediatric Dentistry of Winter Park team!
When she is not in the office, you will find her at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – cheering on her husband, a stunt man for the Indiana Jones Show!
Erica
Erica, a Florida native, has worked in the dental field for over 10 years. She has spent most of her career working for a corporate dental office. She made the switch to Pediatric Dentistry of Winter Park to be able to provide quality, individualized care to her patient families. In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time at the beach with her three children.
Patty
A Philadelphia native, Patty is one of our fantastic front office administrators. Having been in the general dental field for over 20 years, Patty decided to join the Pediatric Dentistry of Winter Park team as a way to give the younger generation a positive experience and improve their chances of having a healthy relationship with the dentist moving into adulthood. Outside of the office, Patty is a big fan of the Eagles – go Birds! She also enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter taking road trips across the U.S. and checking items off her bucket list!
Dental Assistants
Sayra
Sayra, a Puerto Rican native, has been working with kids all her life. As a previous daycare teacher, Sayra knows how to help children of all ages have a positive dental experience. She is happily married with two kids. Outside of work, Sayra and her family love going to Disney and traveling to different U.S. National Parks. Sayra says her favorite thing about Pediatric Dentistry of Winter Park is the team and admits that we have a lot of fun here!
Kat
Kat was born right here in Winter Park, FL! She has been with the practice since day one and has loved every moment! She is drawn to pediatrics because she wants to help children overcome their fears and feel comfortable when visiting the dentist. When she’s not helping Dr. Miller fight sugar bugs, she loves watching reality TV, spending time with family, and going to SeaWorld since her favorite animal is an orca! Kat recently became engaged and excitedly planning for her upcoming nuptials!
Melanie
Melanie, born and raised in Puerto Rico, moved to Florida 10 years ago. She received her expanded functions dental assistant certification in Jacksonville and has been working with kids since her start. As a mother of 3 kids, she strives to help children overcome their fear of coming to the dentist. Her calm and sweet demeanor helps alleviate kids with dental anxiety or those with special needs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, visiting parks, and being with her family.
