When Dr. Allie Miller and her assistants noticed some of their pediatric patients were more fearful of the dentist than others. They also noticed that some patients had a sensitivity to the sounds and vibrations of the cleaning hand-pieces and bright overhead lights. Our staff brainstormed better ways to help our patients and “Tooth-N-Pooch Day” became the solution.
September’s event was so successful that we will be offering Tooth-N-Pooch Day again on March 25th , 2020. This is a great opportunity to bring your child in, whether a first-time visit or routine cleaning appointment. Service dogs can help anxious patients and special needs patients feel at ease during their dental cleaning and exam.
We will be offering cleanings, exams, and X-rays during this event. Be sure to book early!
