Earlier this month, Dr. Allie Miller and the team at Pediatric Dentistry of Winter Park volunteered at this year’s Hope Now Foundation Back to School Bash. With more than 400 volunteers welcoming 23,000 people and giving away thousands of backpacks and school supplies, this year’s back to school bash was a huge success.
In addition to giving away free school supplies to thousands of local students, the back to school bash also served as a place where hundreds of children in Central Florida could get haircuts and health screenings before the start of the school year. Without the help of Hope Now, thousands of students would go to school this year without the supplies and health screenings they need. So in partnership with many local volunteers, Hope Now provided free dental, vision, and hearing screenings to many local students.
